Are you MacGruber or are you MacGyver?

All combat arms understand you can fix anything and everything with paracord and duct-tape. You may not be able to turn it in to CIF but it will certainly work in the field. TA-50 is used and abused so when it's broken in the field and all you have is some strong rope and tape you get creative. Most of the time it is jerry-rigged together because the average soldier couldn't afford to get new gear. Maybe the need TAK-PaK MULE services but back to the point.
From my time in the Army my first platoon customer all the gear to be able to use to their standard. From spray paint paracord, duct-tape and ghillie jute material. Everything was spray painted and camoed up. I remember seeing my team leaders customize their kit "gear and equipment" to fit their style of gun fighting. That was a big influence to me. I remember even making a make shift camo netting for my truck during a notorious 10th Mountain field event called Mountain peak. If you know you know
Creating makeshift gear became a fun hoby for me mostly because I was one of those soldiers who couldn't afford all the Gucci gear I saw everyone else had. That's why I created TAC-PAC MULE Research and Development. Our main objective is research and development but we dabble in repair and customization of tactical gear to fit the users needs.
